Shooting Suspect in Custody in Arkansas

BLYTHEVILLE-- A man wanted in connection with a deadly Champaign shooting is now in custody in Arkansas.

ABC affiliate KAIT is reporting that 30-year-old Micah Hopkins was arrested in Blytheville, Arkansas Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkins was wanted in connection with the June 24 shooting death of Allan Redding in Champaign.

Blytheville Police say they considered Hopkins armed and extremely dangerous, but say he was arrested without incident.

No weapons were located during the arrest.

KAIT reports two other men were also arrested at the time, but it's unclear right now if they'll face any charges.
