Camp Invention Inspires Youth

DANVILLE -- Kids are getting creative at Camp Invention in Danville and thanks to some grant money one-hundred and ten kids are attending for free.

The district received a grant from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center which paid for all the kids to attend.

The program focuses on science, technology, engineering and math in a way that is fun for students.

Students from Danville High School are acting as group leaders for the camp.

The grant money will also pay them a little bit as they work as interns.

Kids say they've been having a great time so far this week and they are eager to try out test out their inventions.
