Danville Dashers Coat Drive

DANVILLE -- The Danville Dashers are hitting the ice for their home opener tonight but they are also trying help the community by taking coat donations.

Anyone who donates a new or gently used coat will get two dollars off the ticket price.

The coats will be given to the Danville Elk's Coats for Kids drive.

The coach says the team is part of the community and they want to reach out and help local organizations and charities.

The team has already done a blood drive this year and is planning other events this season.

The team has also rolled back season ticket prices to what they were in 1984.

For an adult, prices are one-hundred and seventy-five dollars and one-hundred and thirty-five dollars for the student-senior-military discount.
