Quinn Signs New Law with Tuscola Fertilizer Plant Incentive

ILLINOIS--Governor Quinn signed into law a bill today, that could help bring a proposed fertilizer plant to Central Illinois.

The State's 2013 omnibus economic development package,  includes incentives for the plant.

This $1.2 Billion dollar fertilizer plant could soon be coming near Tuscola.

It would be built just south of the old FutureGen site.

Lawmakers felt that giving Illinois a competitive advantage in the siting process for Project Cronus would help them pick our state, as we're still competing
with Iowa for the plant.
