OSHA Investigating Crop Dusting Incident

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, is now investigating an incident that left 79 teenagers exposed to chemicals.

They were working in a field near Pesotum Thursday and were accidentally exposed to chemicals when a crop-dusting plane misfired.

Emergency crews from Pesotum, Tolono, and Champaign responded.

The teens were hosed down and given clean clothes before being bussed to the hospital.

There were no serious injuries--mostly skin irritation.

Findings from OSHA likely won't be released until the investigation is complete.
