UC2B Community Meetings Continue
CHAMPAIGN--The UC2B project continues to move along.
The community wide high speed internet initiative is still trying to pick up momentum.
Saturday, community leaders hosted a public forum to discuss several key aspects.
Everything from what UC2B is, to how to take advantage of some free programs already in place throughout the community.
The forum also addressed a community benefit fund.
Which will take a portion of UC2B profits to offer additional training and service to the community.
But the main issue right now is getting more people on board.
