New Proposal to Legalize Concealed Carry
A proposal to legalize concealed carry is once again on the books at the Statehouse.
Representative Brandon Phelps introduced an outline, this week, for carrying concealed hand-guns. It's very similar to a plan that failed in the last General Assembly.
The new bill would allow people 21 or older with a valid foid card to carry concealed hand-guns. Recently an appellate court ruled the State's ban on carrying concealed weapons unconstitutional. A judge ordered the general assembly to write a new law by June.
