Veterinary Students Learn Large Animal Rescue

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS-- University of Illinois veterinary medicine students are getting an opportunity to learn how to handle a large animal emergency situation.
    The Large Animal Emergency Rescue Training Program is the first of its kind in Illinois, and students are learning how first responders will handle an emergency.
    Also, they are learning how first responders and veterinarians can work hand in hand during an emergency.
    The training includes demonstrations on how the various emergency equipment works, and how it may affect an animal in an emergency situation.
