Man Arrested for Making Threats of Shooting at School

A man is in custody tonight after making threatening statements about a school shooting. Champaign County Sheriff's deputies arrested Uriah Fosdick around 1:00p.m. Monday at his home in St. Joseph, which is behind the St. Joesph Ogden High School. The statements were made this weekend in front of a Champaign County Sheriff's Deputy.

According to the St.Joseph Ogden Superintendent, Fosdick made statements about a shooting and a school but did not single out a particular school or individual.

Fosdick's home was under surveillance this morning until deputies made the arrest. Both the Sheriff and the Superintendent report, no one else was involved in the threats.
