ISP Needs your Help to ID Remains

State police troopers need your help identifying the remains of a man found in Jasper County. The remains were discovered by a pedestrian in March of last year near the town of Newton.

Investigators hope an FBI sketch of what the man's face may have looked like will help generate some leads. He's described as a white man of either Asian, American Indian, or Hispanic descent, about 35 to 50 years old. Authorities believe he was between 5'3" and 5'8".

If you have any information that could help, please call Illinois State Police (Sergeant Albert Gallatin at 217-342-2292, ext 207).
