Salt Fork Football Moves Forward, but Will Never Forget
JAMAICA-- A tragic afternoon on August 28th, 2010 took the life of 36 year old Tammy Walsh. Just after a freshman jamboree game wrapped up between Salt Fork, and St. Joesph-Ogden, somebody struck a utility pole with their car.
That pole fell, landing on Walsh, and ultimately taking her life.
Within a matter of moments, it turned from a great day, to utter tragedy.
Salt Fork players and coaches saw in the worst possible way, how fragile life is. It taught them to never go a moment without seizing every opportunity.
