That candidate is one of Tolono's former village presidents.
As for the person who filed that objection, she works for the Champaign County Clerk's office.
We spoke with that resident earlier today, Rena Anderson.
Anderson said, she found several mistakes, including people who signed the petition that aren't registered voters.
Champaign County Clerk, Gordy Hulten, said he confirms that Anderson didn't do this on company time.
Greg Cler's nominating petition is the one being objected.
Cler served as Tolono's Village President from 2005-2009.
Cler said, he believes he is being singled out because if Anderson found that people signed two different candidate's petitions, then his shouldn't be the only
one with an objection.
