"We want to help them be informed with what their constituents are concerned about and this is one of the many ways they can," said Champaign County League of Women Voters member Deborah Rugg.
"It's really important to be informed about the candidates we're voting for that will effect our community," said voter Claire Johnson.
A second forum featuring candidates for four county-wide offices will be held October 24th from seven until nine at the Champaign City Building. It's open to the public.
