CHAMPAIGN--A teen is in custody, after he shows up to a home with a gun.
Champaign PD arrested Daveyonta Fairman, 17, just after 5 pm Thursday.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Bellefontaine earlier in the day and made no arrests.
However, they returned after Fairman came back to the home with a handgun.
That's when he was taken into custody, and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
Police have recovered the handgun.
